Play & Win: A Game on Every Scan, a Reward at the End
Play & Win turns a QR scan into a short skill-based game ending in a real, claimable reward — a dynamic discount or mystery product, redeemed in person. No wallet, no stored credits, no chance-based spin wheel.
Scan, Play, Win, Claim
Instead of redirecting straight to a menu or offer, a Play & Win QR opens a short skill-based game screen. The customer plays, then sees what they've won on screen, and shows that screen to your staff to redeem — the same way a paper coupon would be redeemed. Nothing is banked as a wallet balance or loyalty points: each play is a single, self-contained session with no ledger to manage.
- Scan opens a game screen instead of redirecting anywhere
- A real skill-based mini-game — not a spin wheel or scratch card
- Reward is computed the moment the game ends
- Optional contact-capture step feeds straight into Lead Hub
- Customer shows the reward screen to staff to redeem, off-platform
Two Reward Models
Every Play & Win QR is configured with one of two reward types. Dynamic Discount pays out a ₹ amount within a minimum-maximum range you set, with a Low, Medium, or High weight controlling whether outcomes skew toward the lower end, spread evenly, or skew toward the upper end. Mystery Product instead picks from a list of physical items (name and photo) you upload, with equal odds across all active items — items can be paused, not just deleted, if you temporarily run out of stock.
Built-In Replay Protection
A configurable cooldown (default 6 hours, up to 72) blocks the same device from starting a new session at your business across any of your Play & Win QR codes, using the same pseudonymous device cookie SMLLR already sets for unique-visitor counting — no extra tracking or OTP step. Every session also ends automatically after 5 minutes, and a customer can tap "Claim now" once a short minimum play time has passed to lock in their reward early if a real-world wait ends sooner than expected.
Set Up Once Per QR, Independent of the Rest
A dedicated 3-step wizard walks you through choosing a game (with a live preview before publishing), setting the reward, and finishing details — QR name, optional contact capture, an optional brand logo, the replay cooldown, and an optional post-claim redirect to your menu or socials. Each Play & Win QR is independent, so a business running several codes — one per table, one per counter — can give each its own game and reward, and edit any of it later from the same wizard.
Performance at a Glance
The Play & Win list page shows plays, completion rate, leads captured, and rewards given, collectively and per QR code, so you can see which codes are actually driving engagement.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Play & Win?
A skill-based mini-game triggered by a QR scan, ending in a real reward the customer claims in person — a dynamic discount or a mystery product, shown on screen and redeemed off-platform by your staff.
Which plans include Play & Win?
Play & Win requires a Pro plan or above — the same tier as the Lead Capture Gate and Lead Hub.
Is Play & Win a spin wheel or scratch card?
No. Reaching the reward screen requires actually playing a real skill-based game — there's no random draw to get there. Randomness only applies to what the reward turns out to be, based on the range and weight (or product list) you configure.
Does Play & Win store a wallet balance or loyalty points for customers?
No. Nothing is ever banked and no balance carries between visits — each play is a single, self-contained session, and the reward is decided the moment the game ends.
Can Play & Win capture leads?
Yes, optionally. Turn on contact capture in the setup wizard to show a short phone/email form before the reward is revealed — every submission lands in your Lead Hub. Leave it off for pure engagement with no data collected.
What stops a customer from playing over and over for more rewards?
A configurable cooldown window (default 6 hours) blocks the same device from starting a new session at your business across all of your Play & Win QR codes until it expires.
How long is a reward valid after it's revealed?
The claim screen stays valid for roughly 10-15 minutes with a visible countdown — enough time to walk to the counter. Scanning the same QR again within that window re-shows the same reward instead of starting a new play.
Does SMLLR integrate with point-of-sale to apply the redemption?
No. Your staff verify the reward directly off the customer's screen and apply the discount or hand over the product in your own point-of-sale or handover process — SMLLR does not record the actual redemption.
