Building Your First Landing Page
A step-by-step guide to creating, designing, and publishing a landing page in SMLLR.
How to Create a Landing Page
Go to Landing Pages
Click Landing Pages in the left sidebar.
Click + Create Landing Page
Click the + Create Landing Page button in the top-right.
Enter a page name
Give the page an internal name (only visible in your dashboard, not on the page itself). For example: 'Diwali Offer Page' or 'Contact Page'.
Adding Sections to Your Page
Click + Add Section
In the page editor, click + Add Section to add your first content block.
Choose the section type
Select from the available types: Heading, Text, Image, Button, Links List, Video, Form, or Divider.
Fill in the content
For each section, fill in the relevant content:
- Heading: Type the heading text and choose the size (H1, H2, H3)
- Text: Type or paste your paragraph text
- Image: Upload an image from your device
- Button: Enter the button label and the URL it should link to
- Links List: Add multiple links with labels and URLs
- Video: Paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL
- Form: Add form fields (name, email, phone, message)
Reorder sections
Drag sections up or down to reorder them. Click the drag handle (six dots) on the left of each section and drag it to the desired position.
Delete a section
Click the trash icon on any section to remove it. This cannot be undone for that session.
Customising the Theme
Open Theme Settings
In the page editor, click the Theme or Design panel on the right side.
Set background
Choose a solid background colour, a gradient (two colours), or upload a background image.
Set font
Select from the available font options to match your brand style.
Set button colour
Choose the colour for all buttons on your page.
Set text colour
Choose the default text colour to ensure readability against your background.
Setting SEO Title and Description
Before publishing, set the page's SEO metadata so it displays correctly when shared on WhatsApp, social media, or in search:
1. Click the SEO / Metadata panel in the editor
2. Enter the Page Title (shown in the browser tab and in link previews)
3. Enter the Meta Description (shown under the title in social media previews)
Publishing Your Page
You can edit and republish your landing page at any time. Changes go live immediately — the QR code that links to it does not need to be updated.
Click Publish
When you are happy with the page, click the Publish button.
Your page is live
The page is immediately accessible at a SMLLR URL.
Link to a QR code
Now create or edit a QR code and choose Landing Page as the CTA type, then select this page.
