Publishing and Managing Your Pages
How to publish, update, unpublish, or delete your landing pages.
Publishing a Page
Click the Publish button in the top-right of the page editor. A published page is accessible at a SMLLR-hosted URL and can be linked to QR codes.
Updating a Published Page
To update an already-published page:
1. Go to Landing Pages and click the page you want to edit
2. Make your changes
3. Click Save or Update — changes go live immediately
All QR codes linked to this page will automatically show the updated content. No need to update the QR code.
Unpublishing a Page
To temporarily take a page offline:
1. Open the page in the editor
2. Click Unpublish
3. The page goes offline — visitors see an error page
4. QR codes linked to this page will show a 'page not found' message until the page is republished
Unpublishing a page will break any QR codes linked to it until you republish. Consider creating a 'temporarily unavailable' page as the fallback URL instead.
Deleting a Page
Deleting a page is permanent. The page URL stops working immediately. Any QR codes that were linked to this page will need to be updated to point to a new destination.
