Using Zapier
Connect SMLLR to 6,000+ apps via Zapier's built-in Webhooks trigger — no separate SMLLR app in the Zapier directory required.
How It Works
SMLLR doesn't (yet) publish a dedicated app in the Zapier directory. Instead, you connect SMLLR to Zapier using Zapier's own built-in Webhooks by Zapier trigger, pointed at a regular SMLLR generic webhook endpoint. This works today, with no waiting on an app review, and gives you access to the same 6,000+ Zapier actions as a native integration would.
Step 1 — Start a Zap with Catch Hook
Create a new Zap
In Zapier, click Create Zap, search for the Webhooks by Zapier app as your trigger, and choose the Catch Hook event.
Copy the custom webhook URL
Zapier generates a unique URL for this Zap. Copy it — this is what SMLLR will send events to.
Step 2 — Register It in SMLLR
Open Settings → Webhooks & Slack
In your SMLLR dashboard, go to Settings → Webhooks & Slack, and click Add Endpoint.
Keep it as a Generic Webhook
Paste the Zapier-generated URL as the endpoint URL — leave the type set to Generic Webhook (not Slack).
Pick your events and save
Choose which events should trigger this Zap, then click Save.
Step 3 — Test in Zapier
You can also click SMLLR's Test button on the endpoint to send a sample payload immediately, instead of triggering a real QR event.
Trigger a sample event
Scan one of your QR codes (or create/update one, depending on the event you picked) so SMLLR sends a real delivery.
Find the data in Zapier
Back in your Zap, click Test trigger / Find data — Zapier shows the JSON payload SMLLR sent, ready to map into your next Zap step.
