Pausing and Ending an A/B Test
How to pause, resume, or permanently end a running A/B test and set the winning variant as the QR code's destination.
Pausing a Test
Pausing a test stops the traffic split temporarily. All scans go to the default URL of the QR code while the test is paused. Use pausing if you need to temporarily stop the experiment without losing the test data.
To pause: Go to A/B Tests, open the test, and click Pause Test.
Resuming a Paused Test
To resume a paused test, open the test and click Resume Test. The traffic split resumes from where it was paused.
Ending a Test and Applying the Winner
After ending the test, verify the QR code is working correctly by doing a test scan.
Open the test
Go to A/B Tests and open the test you want to conclude.
Review the results
Review the variant analytics to identify the winner.
Click End Test
Click the End Test button.
Choose the winning variant
Select which variant's URL should become the permanent destination for this QR code.
Confirm
Click Apply Winner. The QR code now permanently redirects all scans to the winning URL. The test data is archived in your A/B Tests history.
