What a Custom Domain Does
By default, every QR code you create on SMLLR redirects through a smllr.app link — for example, smllr.app/qr/abc123. A custom domain replaces this with your own branded subdomain — for example, go.yourbrand.com/abc123.
The QR code itself does not change. The physical printed code stays exactly the same. What changes is the URL that appears in a scanner's browser address bar for a brief moment before they land on your destination.
Why It Matters
Brand trust — scanners see your domain, not a third-party URL. This reduces hesitation, especially for customers unfamiliar with SMLLR.
Professional consistency — agencies and enterprises want all client-facing links under their own domain, not a SaaS provider's domain.

What Changes and What Stays the Same
Custom domains apply to QR codes created after the domain is verified. Existing QR codes continue to use smllr.app links unless you manually update them.

Which Plans Include Custom Domain?
Custom domain is available on the Premium plan and above. The Premium plan includes 1 custom domain by default. Additional domains can be added as paid add-ons.
