Inviting Team Members
How to invite colleagues to collaborate on your SMLLR account.
What is Team Member Access?
The Team Members feature (available on Premium and above) lets you invite other people to access your SMLLR account. Each person gets their own login, and you control what level of access they have — whether they can just view data, edit QR codes, or manage everything.
This is useful for:
- Marketing teams where multiple people manage QR codes
- Agencies managing QR campaigns on behalf of clients (invite a read-only client view)
- Businesses where a manager needs access and an assistant needs edit access
- Co-founders or partners who need full access
Premium plans include 5 team member seats. You can add more seats as an add-on.
How to Invite a Team Member
Invitation links expire after 7 days. If the invite is not accepted within that time, you will need to resend it.
Go to Members
Click Members in the left sidebar of your dashboard.
Click Invite Member
Click the + Invite Member button.
Enter their email address
Type the email address of the person you want to invite.
Select their role
Choose a role for this person. See the Member Roles article for a full explanation of what each role can do.
Click Send Invite
Click Send Invite. An invitation email is sent to the provided address.
They accept the invite
The invited person receives an email with a link. They click the link to create their SMLLR account (or log in if they already have one) and accept the invite. They then appear as an Active member in your account.
Viewing and Managing Pending Invites
In the Members section, you will see two lists:
- Active Members — people who have accepted their invite and can log in
- Pending Invites — people who have been invited but have not yet accepted
For pending invites, you can:
- Resend the invite — sends a fresh invitation email
- Cancel the invite — removes the invitation before it is accepted
