What Is Play & Win?
How the scan-to-game-to-reward flow works, and why nothing is ever stored as a balance or credits.
Scan, Play, Win, Claim
Play & Win turns a QR scan into a short skill-based game, ending in a real reward the customer claims in person. Instead of redirecting straight to a menu or offer, the QR opens a game screen — the customer plays, then sees what they've won. Access it from your dashboard sidebar under Play & Win. It requires a Pro plan or above, the same tier as the Lead Capture Gate.
This is deliberately not a wallet or loyalty-points feature: nothing is ever banked, no balance carries between visits, and there's no ledger to manage. Each play is a single, self-contained session — the reward is decided the moment the game ends, and the flow is finished once it's claimed.
The Player's Journey
Scan
The customer scans the QR code, which opens the Play & Win game screen instead of redirecting anywhere.
Play
They tap Play and play a short, real skill-based game — not a spin wheel or scratch card.
Win
The moment the game ends, a reward is computed and revealed on screen.
Claim (optional contact step)
If you've turned on contact capture, a short form appears before the reward is shown — see "Collect Contact Info" below.
Show staff to redeem
The customer shows the reward screen to your staff, who apply the discount or hand over the product off-platform, the same way a paper coupon would be redeemed.
Why It's Skill-Based, Not Chance-Based
The game itself is a real skill-based mini-game — there's no spin wheel, scratch card, or entry fee. Reaching the reward screen requires actually playing, not a random draw. What the reward turns out to be (see the two reward models) is where randomness comes in, but getting there never is.
