Editing a QR Code
How to update the destination, design, or settings of any QR code — even one that is already in use.
The Key Benefit of Dynamic QR Codes
With SMLLR, you can change any QR code's destination URL, design, or settings at any time — without changing the QR code image itself. This means QR codes that are already printed on menus, packaging, or signage automatically start pointing to the new destination the moment you save your changes.
This is the core advantage of a dynamic QR code platform. You never need to reprint your materials just because a URL changed.
How to Edit a QR Code
Go to QR Codes
Click QR Codes in the left sidebar.
Find your QR code
Scroll or use the search bar to find the QR code you want to edit. You can filter by name, status, or campaign.
Open the edit view
Click the QR code name or the Edit (pencil) icon. The QR editor opens.
Make your changes
Switch between the Content, Design, and Settings tabs to update whichever aspect you need.
Save
Click Save Changes. Your changes take effect immediately — live within seconds.
What Can You Edit?
Only design changes (colour, logo, frame) require downloading a new QR image to show the updated look. The QR code itself (the black-and-white pattern) does not change — only its visual skin changes.
